Stardock has launched the Reinforcements DLC for Sins of a Solar Empire II, expanding the space strategy title with new late-game mechanics and faction-specific paths to victory.

The expansion introduces six command-class vessels, one for each faction, designed to fill the gap between capital ships and titans. These ships combine heavy firepower with specialized abilities, including mobile shipyards, large-scale strikecraft support and devastating psionic weaponry.

New factional victory conditions allow players to pursue strategies aligned with their chosen empire’s lore. Options include constructing Arkships to leave the sector, converting entire star systems, or deploying a planet-destroying superweapon to impose peace through force.

The DLC aims to diversify endgame scenarios by combining new fleet compositions with alternative win conditions, encouraging players to test different strategic approaches and long-term planning.

Reinforcements is available for $14.99 as a standalone purchase, and is also included in the $99.99 Premium Edition and $59.99 Content Pass across Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Stardock’s own platform.
