Xiaomi has confirmed that it will hold a special event on December 28. The event is strongly suspected to be the launch event for the latest flagship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and powerful specifications, Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro.

Recently, an invitation image was spread that revealed the launch date of the Xiaomi 12. Interestingly, there were two smartphones that appeared, as if giving a code that there would be two flagships that would be introduced.

The two phones in question are likely the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro. From the same image, both devices appear to have slightly curved screens and have elongated or cinematic aspect ratios.

Reporting from My Smart Price, Wednesday (12/22/2021), the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will be equipped with monster specifications, such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, RAM with a large capacity, quality screen, and camera capabilities that are much better than before. .

From the previous leak, the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 11 carries an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. As in the picture, the screen has thin bezels on all sides and is equipped with a punch hole as a place for the selfie camera.

This latest Xiaomi cellphone is supported by a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and has varying RAM and storage memory. For cameras, this smartphone will carry a main camera with a 50MP sensor supported by OIS or optical image stabilization. This camera is paired with an ultrawide lens, and a macro lens.

While the Xiaomi 12 Pro, this smartphone is equipped with specifications that are faster than the standard model. Although the processor is the same, Xiaomi embeds RAM with a capacity of up to 12 GB and 512 GB of storage memory on its latest flagship phone.

This latest flagship cellphone is also running on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. As for the battery, it could be of a larger capacity with support for fast charging up to 120W which is faster than the standard model.

The screen itself remains AMOLED type with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. It may be larger than the standard variant, measuring approximately 6.67 inches. Likewise, there is a punch hole at the top as a place for the selfie camera.

In the camera department, not much is known. What is clear, the main sensor used is 50MP and will be combined with other quality cameras.

In addition to the standard and pro variants, Xiaomi will reportedly announce the Xiaomi 12X series at a more affordable price. It is also smaller in size with a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
