Xiaomi has unveiled the Electric Scooter 6 Lite on one of its official global websites, signaling a forthcoming international launch of what is expected to be the lightest and most affordable model in the company’s latest electric scooter lineup.

The Electric Scooter 6 Lite sits at the lower end of Xiaomi’s new Scooter 6 series, which also includes higher-end variants such as the Electric Scooter 6 Max. According to product details, the model is designed for short urban trips, combining a lightweight frame with basic comfort and safety features.

The scooter is equipped with a motor delivering up to 500 watts of peak power, enabling a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour and the ability to climb inclines of up to 15%. Xiaomi says the 216 watt-hour battery offers a range of up to 25 kilometers at lower speeds, dropping to about 20 kilometers at maximum speed. Ride comfort is supported by 10-inch pneumatic tires and a dual-spring front suspension, while braking is handled by a front drum brake and rear electronic anti-lock braking system.

Additional features include a front headlight, rear brake light and an integrated handlebar display showing speed, riding mode and remaining battery life. The scooter can also be connected to the Xiaomi Home app for remote management and ride statistics. Xiaomi describes the model as having a “strong yet lightweight design,” with a total weight of 18.1 kilograms and a maximum rider load of 100 kilograms.

Xiaomi has not yet disclosed pricing or a precise release date for the Electric Scooter 6 Lite. However, as the entry-level option, it is expected to undercut other models in the range. By comparison, the previous-generation Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite carried a recommended retail price of €329.99 in Europe.
