Xiaomi’s POCO Lineup Set for Global Launch Windows, Including POCO F6 and POCO X6 Neo

A recent report has disclosed international launch timelines for Xiaomi’s upcoming POCO-branded smartphones, following the global release of the POCO X6 5G and POCO X6 Pro 5G in January. The focus now shifts to the anticipated debuts of the POCO F6 and POCO X6 Neo, with expectations pointing towards an initial release in India.

Initial speculations surrounding the POCO F6 surfaced in early November, initially mistaken for the eventual POCO X6 Pro 5G, currently priced at $465 on Amazon. However, recent updates suggest that the POCO F6 will serve as the global counterpart to the yet-to-be-released Redmi Note 13 Turbo.

Both models are purportedly set to feature the ‘SM8635’ chipset by Qualcomm, positioned between the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in terms of performance. The POCO F6’s release date is reportedly slated for July 2024, a month later than previously indicated by leaks.

Clarifications note that the mentioned release window pertains specifically to India. It remains uncertain whether Xiaomi will synchronize the launch of the POCO F6 in India with other markets. Meanwhile, the POCO X6 Neo is expected to hit the Indian market as early as the coming month, armed with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 120 Hz AMOLED display.
