Resident Evil Village, Most Completed Games for 2021

The year 2021 is filled with new games to play with various genres. But maybe not all of them can be completed by players because the time restrictions or the games being played are not very interesting to complete until the end.

HowLongtoBeat, a site that collects data on the duration of each game, built a survey of what games gamers on the internet have completed to the end and what games they stopped in the middle or did not finish. According to their data, Resident Evil Village, Metroid Dread and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart became the 3 main games that gamers watched the most this year.

Resident Evil Village is a linear game full of action, so it’s only natural that the game is widely watched by those who buy it. Meanwhile, Metroid Dread might be a surprise to see the game design that tests and challenges exploration from players. But seeing the game is quite short if you don’t get lost, maybe in the end it can be considered reasonable too.

On the other hand, Twelve Minutes, Loop Hero and The Ascent are the 3 games most often left or unattended this year according to HLTB data. Twelve Minutes is a puzzle game that is conceptually monotonous and requires a sequence of actions that must be precise if you want the story to continue, so it’s only natural that few people will watch it.

Loop Hero is a roguelite game that takes time, luck and skill to complete, so how to complete it can vary depending on the individual player.
