Senra Systems has raised $65 million in a Series B funding round to expand its digital manufacturing platform for wire harness production, a critical component used in aerospace, defense and industrial equipment. Google has been identified as the developer behind a planned 2.7 GW data center campus near Cheyenne, Wyoming, replacing Crusoe as the company leading the project. According to local reports, the development has been renamed Project Tembo and will be built on a 716-acre site in the Switchgrass Industrial Park, approximately eight miles south of Cheyenne. Amazon has agreed to purchase 600 MW of electricity from the planned Gennaker offshore wind farm in Germany under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with developer Skyborn Renewables, the companies said.
