Google has been identified as the developer behind a planned 2.7 GW data center campus near Cheyenne, Wyoming, replacing Crusoe as the company leading the project. According to local reports, the development has been renamed Project Tembo and will be built on a 716-acre site in the Switchgrass Industrial Park, approximately eight miles south of Cheyenne. Amazon has agreed to purchase 600 MW of electricity from the planned Gennaker offshore wind farm in Germany under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with developer Skyborn Renewables, the companies said.
