Swiss watchmaker Tissot has introduced the PRC 100 Solar, a new addition to its solar-powered timepiece collection. The latest model features a 39mm stainless steel case with a dodecagonal bezel and is available in silver, blue, and full-black dial variants.

Powered by the Lightmaster Solar Quartz movement, the PRC 100 Solar absorbs natural and artificial light through honeycomb-structured solar cells beneath its sapphire crystal. The movement offers a power reserve of up to 14 months on a full charge, with Tissot stating that just ten minutes of natural light provides a full day’s operation.

The watch maintains a minimalist yet robust design, with Super-LumiNova-coated baton hour markers and hands for enhanced visibility. It includes a screw-down crown, a date window at the 3 o’clock position, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. Buyers can choose between a stainless steel bracelet or a leather strap.

The Tissot PRC 100 Solar is now available for purchase at $495 through the brand’s official website and authorized retailers. Tissot also confirmed that smaller 34mm variants in two-tone and full yellow gold PVD will launch later this year.
