Game accessory maker GameSir has announced a special edition of its Tarantula Pro wireless game controller in collaboration with Saul Leonardo “MenaRD” Mena II, the 2025 EVO champion for Street Fighter 6.

The original Tarantula Pro, released in October 2024, features a motorized system allowing users to switch the ABXY button layout between Xbox and Nintendo formats. Until now, the controller was only available in black.

The MenaRD edition introduces a dark green finish that fades to nearly black at the handles. The left handle features a black lightning logo, while the right handle bears MenaRD’s signature.

A geometric pattern adorns the faceplate, and the ABXY buttons are marked in a Chinese calligraphy-style font, reflecting the collaboration’s design influence.

MenaRD, a Dominican gamer and GameSir’s global brand ambassador, collaborated with the company on the design to celebrate his EVO 2025 championship. The special edition does not yet have an official release date or pricing. The original Tarantula Pro launched at $69.99, with a version that includes a charging dock retailing for an additional $10.

GameSir’s Tarantula Pro lineup is aimed at gamers seeking versatile controllers for multiple platforms, combining adjustable layouts with premium design touches.
