Amazfit has extended availability of its Balance 2 XT smartwatch to Germany, following earlier launches in the United States, Italy and Spain. The device is positioned as a lower-cost variant of the original Balance 2, maintaining many of its core health and fitness features.
The company said the model first debuted in the U.S. in August 2025, with wider European rollout underway. “This model launched in the US in August 2025, and it has since arrived in other European countries like Italy and Spain,” the original article noted.

Retailers including Galaxus are now offering the smartwatch in Germany. While the device carries a recommended retail price of €199.90, several online stores are listing it at €177.00, a discount of €22.90. These reductions appear linked to seasonal promotions and may end in late November or early December.
The Balance 2 XT shares a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with the standard Balance 2 but uses mineral glass rather than sapphire. The watch features a metallic gray bezel and casing with a black silicone strap. It supports more than 170 sports modes and offers health-tracking capabilities, including heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep monitoring.

The model includes built-in GPS and allows users to download maps. Amazfit indicates battery performance is comparable to the Balance 2, with up to 21 days of typical use. However, the XT version lacks the Golf app and offers 5 ATM water resistance instead of the 10 ATM rating on the higher-priced model. Availability for markets such as the UK has not yet been confirmed.
