Xiaomi has begun an international release of its updated G27i gaming monitor, expanding the availability of the 27-inch display beyond China as part of a broader push into overseas gaming hardware markets. The new model, branded the Gaming Monitor G27i 2026, arrives with higher brightness and a faster refresh rate than its predecessor while maintaining a relatively low price point.
The G27i 2026 follows Xiaomi’s earlier launch of the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 in Australia. Unlike the Mini LED model, which can reach up to 2,000 nits in localized highlights, the G27i 2026 targets mainstream gamers with a full-panel brightness of about 400 nits. That still represents a notable increase from the previous G27i, which peaked at 250 nits.

Xiaomi has also raised the refresh rate to 200 Hz from 165 Hz on the 2025 version, while retaining a 1 ms grey-to-grey response time and a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. According to the product description, the monitor is positioned as an affordable option that balances speed and basic visual performance for competitive gaming.
Design updates include a redesigned stand and slimmer bezels, though connectivity remains limited. The monitor continues to offer DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5 mm audio jack, with no USB hub included. Xiaomi said the new model “gets much brighter than its predecessor” while keeping costs in check.

The Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 is currently listed in Singapore at SGD 199, compared with SGD 159 for last year’s model. In the United Kingdom, at least one retailer has priced the display at about £184 including value-added tax. Xiaomi has not yet disclosed timelines for launches in additional regions.
