Suunto has relaunched its Vertical 2 smartwatch in a limited edition variant, marking the Finnish company’s 90th anniversary with a design update rather than new hardware features. The new model, called the Suunto Vertical 2 Titanium Limited Edition, is scheduled to go on sale in early March.
The updated version follows the original Vertical 2, which debuted in September 2025, and mirrors a strategy seen elsewhere in the sector, where manufacturers release visual refreshes to extend product lifecycles. Suunto said the anniversary edition draws inspiration from its classic Vector mountaineering watch, with a titanium case, distinctive orange accents and an exclusive dial design.

Beyond its appearance, the smartwatch remains unchanged from the standard Vertical 2. It features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, battery life of up to 65 hours in performance mode, more than 115 pre-installed sports modes, an integrated LED flashlight and upgraded heart-rate tracking compared with older Suunto models.
The release will be tightly limited, with Suunto confirming that “only 1,936 units will be sold worldwide,” a figure referencing the year the company was founded. Sales are set to begin on March 10 via Suunto’s website and selected retailers.

The Suunto Vertical 2 Titanium Limited Edition will retail for €799, or about $945, including value-added tax, positioning it above the standard model as a commemorative product aimed at collectors and long-time fans of the brand.
