Garmin has started rolling out software version 13.26 to users of the Garmin Instinct 3, Garmin Instinct Crossover and Garmin Instinct E, bringing a mix of new features and bug fixes. The stable release follows shortly after version 13.25, which addressed issues tied to the Smart Wake feature.
The company announced the update in a recent forum post, detailing a broad list of enhancements. Garmin said “the change log shows a long list of new features and improvements,” while noting that several of these had already been introduced with software version 13.24.

Version 13.26 includes a fix designed to prevent certain models, particularly the Instinct 3 and Instinct E, from crashing during startup. The patch is aimed at improving overall device stability for affected users.
For Solar Tactical and AMOLED Tactical variants, Garmin resolved a compatibility problem in which third-party laser range finders were not receiving ballistic data as expected. The correction is intended to restore proper communication between the watches and external equipment.

In addition, Solar and AMOLED models gain new health tracking features and short workout programs tailored for long-distance truck drivers. However, the company did not provide further specifics about these tools in the published change log.
Garmin said the update has been deployed to around 50% of users so far. Once available, the software should download and install automatically when the smartwatch connects to the Garmin Connect mobile app or Garmin Express desktop software.
