Honor has begun teasing its upcoming Magic V6 foldable smartphone ahead of its official unveiling at Mobile World Congress 2026, outlining durability and design improvements over the previous generation.
In promotional materials released this week, Honor presented the Magic V6 from multiple angles, describing it as “an evolution of the Magic V5” rather than a complete redesign. The company confirmed that the red color variant previously introduced in China will be available globally when the device launches.
Honor said the Magic V6 will feature a reinforced steel hinge rated at 2,800 megapascals (MPa), aimed at improving structural strength. The company also indicated that the new model will reduce crease visibility on the foldable display and incorporate an enhanced anti-reflective coating.
The smartphone maker added that the Magic V6 will become the first foldable device to receive IP69 certification for water and dust resistance. By comparison, among current foldables, only the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold offers IP68 certification.
