Xiaomi has started global sales of its new Black Shark Gaming Tablet, expanding its gaming-focused device portfolio beyond smartphones. The tablet, which was teased more than two months ago and later listed on the Black Shark website without pricing or availability details, is now available through Xiaomi’s official Black Shark store on AliExpress.

The gaming tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the same chipset used in devices such as the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. Unlike larger tablets in Xiaomi’s lineup, the Black Shark Gaming Tablet adopts a more compact form factor with an 8.8-inch display offering a 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, specifications aimed at smoother gameplay and sharper visuals.

Xiaomi equips the device with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, alongside a 7,300 mAh battery supporting 20 W charging. The company includes a power adapter, charging cable, protective case and a microSD card ejector tool in the retail package. The tablet is offered in black and silver finishes, each configuration featuring 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The device ships worldwide, including to the United States. Pricing is set at $670.97 in the U.S., inclusive of import charges and taxes. In the United Kingdom, the tablet is listed at £558.59, while customers in the eurozone can purchase it for €635.69.

While Xiaomi did not issue a formal launch event announcement, the company had previously confirmed hardware specifications when the product page went live earlier this year. At the time, the listing “confirmed hardware specifications” but did not specify “when, where or for how much the Black Shark Gaming Tablet would be available,” according to earlier product information.
