Chinese tech manufacturer Xiaomi has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of the Poco X6 series and Poco M6 Pro 4G scheduled for January 11. In anticipation of the event, Xiaomi has been gradually releasing information about the devices, with the latest revelation highlighting the debut of the all-new HyperOS skin on the Poco X6 Pro.
The Poco X6 Pro is set to become the first globally launched Xiaomi smartphone featuring HyperOS straight out of the box, signaling its significance in Xiaomi’s product lineup.
Notably, the HyperOS will be exclusive to the Poco X6 Pro, distinguishing it from the vanilla Poco X6 and Poco M6 Pro, which are expected to run on MIUI initially. However, an eventual HyperOS update for these models is anticipated.
In addition to the software details, Xiaomi has confirmed the chipsets powering the devices. The Poco X6 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, while the Poco M6 Pro boasts the Helio G99-Ultra.
The spotlight, however, falls on the Poco X6 Pro, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset. Xiaomi has teased an impressive AnTuTu total score of 1,464,228 for the Poco X6 Pro, generating anticipation for its performance capabilities.
