LG Electronics has introduced its UltraWide 49U950A-W monitor, a 49-inch display featuring a 1440p resolution IPS panel, 144Hz refresh rate, and a slight 3800R curve, designed for both professional and entertainment use.

The monitor offers a 32:9 aspect ratio and supports 98% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. It includes integrated stereo speakers, an ambient light sensor, and a built-in KVM switch, allowing users to seamlessly switch peripherals across multiple connected devices.

Connectivity options include two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, and USB-C, with the latter supporting up to 90 watts of power delivery. The display also provides additional USB-A ports via an integrated hub and comes with a height-adjustable stand to improve ergonomics.

LG highlighted the monitor’s ultrawide format as suitable for office workflows, enabling multiple applications to be displayed side by side, while also supporting gaming performance with its high refresh rate.

The 49U950A-W is initially launching in Singapore at an estimated price of $1,799. LG has not provided details on international availability or pricing. Additional specifications and features can be accessed on LG’s official website.
