Rogbid has introduced the Apex FT, a new GPS smartwatch designed for outdoor and fitness enthusiasts. The device features dual-band, six-satellite positioning, a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, and up to 65 days of standby time, with a starting price of $59.99.
The Apex FT is equipped with an advanced GNSS chipset that supports six satellite systems, promising faster and more accurate positioning. According to the company, the smartwatch provides “precise route tracking and altitude monitoring, even in challenging environments.” The watch also includes a built-in flashlight with adjustable brightness, which can assist users during night activities or emergencies.
Durability remains a core focus. The Apex FT is MIL-STD-810H certified, offering resistance to shock, heat, cold, and water. Its 5ATM rating means the device is waterproof up to 50 meters. Powered by a 670mAh battery, the smartwatch can last up to 25 days with regular use or 24 hours with continuous GPS tracking — a specification aimed at reducing the need for frequent charging on long expeditions.
Health and fitness integration is another key aspect. The smartwatch syncs data with Apple Health, Google Fit, and Strava, allowing users to monitor heart rate, calorie expenditure, and other performance metrics in one place. The AMOLED display delivers up to 1,000 nits of brightness for visibility in direct sunlight, and three physical buttons provide alternative control options.
The Apex FT also supports Bluetooth calling and instant message notifications for daily use. Available in Black and Orange, the watch is now on sale through Rogbid’s official online store.
While the Apex FT appears to offer an appealing mix of affordability and functionality, the real-world accuracy of its sensors has yet to be independently verified.
