Aoostar has confirmed that its first AMD Strix Halo mini-PC, the Nex 395, will become available globally following its initial debut in China. The device features the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU paired with a Radeon 8060S integrated GPU and is positioned among the highest-performance mini-PCs currently using AMD’s new platform.

The Nex 395 was released in China for the equivalent of more than US$2,000, joining competing models such as the GMKtec EVO-X2 and the Minisforum MS-S1 Max. Aoostar indicated that the international version will maintain the same hardware configuration as the Chinese model and will be sold under the name “Nex 395” rather than “Nex395.” In the company’s words, the device is “coming soon,” though no pricing or release date has been provided.

Designed with a more understated chassis compared to other AMD Strix Halo systems, the Nex 395 will incorporate the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and the Radeon 8060S iGPU. The company also referenced a feature titled “Grandmaster Posture,” though did not elaborate on its function or relevance to the device.

The global launch schedule has not yet been announced, but Aoostar’s previous rollouts suggest the product could reach international markets before the end of the year. The firm did not comment on whether global pricing would align with its Chinese launch cost.

The confirmation marks Aoostar’s expansion into the high-performance mini-PC market beyond its domestic base, positioning the Nex 395 as a contender in a growing segment for compact AI-ready systems.
