A new Amazfit smartwatch identified as model A2557 has appeared in three regulatory databases across Asia, indicating that Zepp Health may be preparing to launch a new wearable device. The model was most recently listed with authorities in South Korea and Indonesia, following an earlier registration in Malaysia in late November.
The unannounced smartwatch was first spotted in the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) database and has now been certified by the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) in South Korea and the Directorate General for Digital Infrastructure (DJID) in Indonesia. The listings classify the A2557 as a “small output wireless device” but do not provide additional hardware specifications, features or images. Zepp Health, which produces Amazfit products, has not yet issued an official announcement.

Rumors circulating among industry observers suggest that the A2557 could be the next model in the Falcon series. The first Amazfit Falcon, released in 2022, was positioned as a premium multisport smartwatch with advanced GPS tracking, support for numerous activity modes and 200-metre water resistance. Others speculate that the device might instead refresh the Amazfit Cheetah running smartwatch range, which has not seen a full update since 2023.
Zepp Health’s most recent smartwatch release was the T-Rex 3 Pro earlier this year, and the emergence of the A2557 in multiple official certifications indicates that another model may be nearing launch. However, no technical details, pricing information or release timeline have been confirmed.

With regulatory appearances increasing across markets, additional information is expected to surface as the company moves closer to public disclosure. For now, only the model number is known, and whether the wearable will debut as a Falcon, Cheetah or entirely new product line remains unverified.
