ASRock appears to be preparing the release of new mini PCs, including a compact model called the DeskSlim X600, according to a recently circulated specification sheet. The document indicates that the device will support AMD AM5 desktop processors ranging from the Ryzen 7000 series to the more recent 9000 lineup. One line on the sheet states that the system is designed to handle “AM5 CPUs from Ryzen 7000 to 9000 series,” suggesting a focus on high-performance desktop hardware in a small form factor.

The leaked information notes that the DeskSlim X600 can accommodate chips with up to a 65W thermal design power, which would exclude some higher-end processors such as the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The system is also said to support a low-profile, dual-slot discrete graphics card, a feature that could appeal to users seeking to build a compact gaming-focused machine.

The spec sheet also mentions support for a power supply of up to 330W on pre-configured models, a detail that may require consideration for users planning to install more power-demanding GPUs. Memory support is listed as four DDR5 slots, enabling up to 256GB of RAM. For storage, the DeskSlim X600 will reportedly include two M.2 2280 slots — one with PCIe Gen 5×4 support and the other Gen 4×4 — along with two 6 Gb/s SATA ports.

Connectivity options highlighted in the document include one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, USB4, 2.5G Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4 and a 3.5mm audio jack. The selection suggests the system is aimed at users needing both modern I/O and broad peripheral compatibility in a compact desktop.

According to the leaked details, the DeskSlim X600 appears to be positioned as a variation of the DeskMini X600 released in July 2025. However, the final size and full design of the mini PC remain undisclosed and are expected to be confirmed once ASRock makes an official announcement.
