Samsung Electronics said it will unveil a new generation of Micro RGB televisions at CES 2026, expanding a niche display technology the company first introduced last year as it seeks to differentiate its high-end TV portfolio.

The South Korean company confirmed that its 2026 Micro RGB lineup will span screen sizes from 55 inches to 115 inches, broadening availability beyond the single 115-inch model released in August 2025. Samsung said the new models will use refined Micro RGB technology built around red, green and blue LEDs smaller than 100 micrometers, designed to deliver more accurate colors and sharper images.

According to Samsung, the displays will cover 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut and include a glare-free finish intended to improve viewing in bright environments. The company described the technology as producing “realistic colors and enhanced clarity,” positioning the TVs at the top end of its consumer lineup.

The 2026 models will also feature a next-generation AI chipset, enabling functions such as AI-based upscaling, motion enhancement and color optimization. Samsung said the TVs will integrate a Vision AI assistant powered by a large language model, alongside applications such as Live Translate and Perplexity, while audio upgrades will include Dolby Atmos and a new spatial sound system branded Eclipsa Audio.

Samsung said the Micro RGB TVs will be showcased publicly when CES 2026 opens in Las Vegas on Jan. 6. Pricing has not been disclosed, though the company referred to the lineup as “premium,” suggesting it will command higher prices than its mainstream television offerings.
