Images published by retailer MechDiy suggest that TrimUI’s upcoming Brick Pro gaming handheld will initially be offered in black and white, as anticipation builds around the company’s next device aimed at retro gaming enthusiasts.
TrimUI confirmed the existence of the Brick Pro in mid-January, with early leaks showing a redesigned handheld featuring dual joysticks and a larger screen than its predecessor. New images shared by MechDiy appear to reinforce those changes and indicate that the device has already begun shipping to retailers, raising expectations that pre-orders could open later this month.
The Brick Pro represents a notable step up from the original TrimUI Brick, which launched with a smaller 3.2-inch display. TrimUI has said the new model will feature a 4-inch screen and enough processing power to handle emulation of more demanding systems, including many PlayStation 2 titles. A recent video by content creator Neon Rabbit highlighted the device’s improved emulation performance.
While pricing and full specifications have not yet been disclosed, MechDiy said in a social media post that the Brick Pro is “on the way” to stores, signaling that a commercial release may be close. Based on TrimUI’s past strategy, additional color variants could follow later in the year.

The Brick Pro is expected to compete in a crowded handheld market where manufacturers are increasingly focusing on higher performance and larger displays to attract users seeking portable access to classic console libraries.
