Feeds on Instagram now don’t only contain uploads from followers and following. Some time ago, Instagram added Suggested Posts in Feed, so you can see photo or video posts from other accounts that you don’t even follow.
Suggested posts usually come from likes and comments, mutuals from accounts you follow, or other ways Instagram studies identify interactions with those posts.
However, not all of this suggested content is what users want. For this reason, social media under this Meta company also accompanies settings for customizing Suggested Posts. Here below how to set it up.

How to customize Suggested Posts on Instagram
- On the Suggested Post that you don’t like, tap the three-dot icon in the right corner of the post
- Select “Not Interested”
- Then after the post is gone, select the “Don’t suggest posts related to” option so that related content is no longer recommended
In addition to customizing Suggested Posts, Instagram also offers the option of Snooze or delaying a Suggested Post upload for 30 days. The method is the same until step 2, then select the option “Snooze all suggested posts in feed for 30 days.” Well, now you won’t be bothered by posts suggested by Instagram.

Please note, Instagram so far does not have a feature to disable Suggested Posts. So, the two features above are the best solution to get rid of annoying posts in Feed.
