Redmi Watch is the first smartwatch to be released under the Redmi brand. That means, users can expect to be presented with attractive specifications and features at pocket-friendly prices.
Redmi Watch has a 1.4-inch LCD touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels at 323 PPI. Redmi promises that this latest smartwatch has more than 120 watch faces that can be selected according to the tastes of the users. The body is also designed to be water resistant with a 5ATM rating up to 50 meters, making it suitable for swimming.
Talking about design, Redmi Watch puts forward an appearance similar to the Apple Watch. The body is light with a weight of only 35 grams. To support a healthy lifestyle, this smartwatch offers 7 different sports modes including Indoor Running, Outdoor Running, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Swimming, Swimming, and Freestyle.
There are several sensors embedded in the Redmi Watch, ranging from Six-axis sensors, geomagnetic sensors, Ambient light sensors, to a heart rate sensor that will always monitor for 24 hours. Users are also presented with features such as Sleep Detection, calorie monitoring, and a distance counter.
Even more interesting, the Redmi Watch is equipped with a multifunctional NFC feature. Users can also receive notifications of incoming calls, SMS, and third-party instant messaging applications. Devices with Bluetooth 5.0 can connect with smartphones based on Android 5.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.
For matters of power, Redmi Watch relies on a battery with a capacity of 230 mAh. Redmi claims the battery is able to keep it on for 7 days, or up to 12 days when activating power saving mode.
