The Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 was first introduced at the BETT 2022 conference in London. Despite its name as a convertible variant of the Galaxy Chromebook 2, this device is actually a version of the Galaxy Chromebook Go.
Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 flaunts an LED-backlit LCD screen with WQXGA resolution measuring 12.4 inches. This screen comes with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, peak brightness of up to 340 nits, and touchscreen support, so it can be used as a tablet.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor with Intel UHD Graphics. The CPU is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB e.MMC storage. This laptop runs Chrome OS OS with support for Android and Linux applications.
Regarding wireless connectivity, this device comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and LTE (optional) technology. There are several ports, such as a USB Type-C port, USB 3.2 Type-A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a microSD card slot, nano security, and a nano-SIM card (optional).
Other features include a keyboard, 8MP HD (720p) webcam, stereo speakers, 45.4 Wh battery with support for 45W charging via USB Type-C. The device measures 287.9 x 206.6 x 16.9 mm and weighs 1, 28 kilograms.
The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 will go on sale in the UK on April 15. It is not yet known whether the laptop will be launched globally, but here are the prices of each variant in the UK.
