This new LG CineBeam 4K UST projector has the model number HU915QE. It is the successor to the premium CineBeam 4K laser projector HU715Q.
The LG CineBeam 4K UST is informed that it features a minimalist design and can be operated at a distance of 18.3 cm. This projector is capable of producing high-quality images from 90 inches to 120 inches.
With advanced projection technology, consumers can use this projector as a replacement for a large TV that is sometimes space-constrained. The maximum brightness of this laser-based projector is 3,700 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. The application of three-channel laser technology allows the projection results to be visible even in a bright room.
The LG CineBeam 4K UST laser projector is reportedly capable of displaying 4K HDR video. It uses its built-in technology to adjust the brightness to the ambient conditions. Adaptive contrast functionality is also present in the HU915QE model.
The LG HU915QE is a smart projector. Hence, it has an operating system which is LG’s exclusive WebOS 6.0. It allows users to instantly stream content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, and YouTube. The device also supports Bluetooth connection, screen mirroring, and Apple AirPlay 2.
The sound system of this projector uses a 2.2 channel audio configuration. The power of the speaker is said to be 40 watts, which is quite high for a projector. The sound experience can be further enhanced by connecting up to two compatible Bluetooth speakers.
The LG CineBeam 4K (HU915QE) laser projector will first arrive in North America, Europe and the Middle East, then other regions will follow. While LG hasn’t provided pricing information for the new CineBeam projector, it’s estimated to be priced at around $6,000
