Samsung has just launched a new gaming monitor from the Odyssey series, which is their flagship gaming monitor series. The newest model is called the Odyssey Ark, which is the first curved gaming monitor to have a 55-inch screen with 1000R curvature.
The latest gaming monitor from the South Korean company features a 55-inch panel that has a curved screen and supports a high refresh rate of 165 Hz. Other features include a 1 ms (GtG) response time, an all-new cockpit mode, Ark Dial, as well as an innovative controller. Through the curvature of the 1000R, Samsung promises to offer an immersive gaming experience.
The Odyssey Ark comes with Samsung’s Quantum Matrix, which can control LEDs state-of-the-art. This monitor is also equipped with Matte Display and Sound Dome technology so that it is claimed to help enhance the cinematic experience of Odyssey Ark. It even has AI Sound Booster and Dolby Atmos to enhance the surround sound experience with a 60-watt 2.2.2 channel.
The new gaming monitor comes with the Samsung Gaming Hub, a game streaming portal where gamers can find and play games from Xbox, Nvidia GeForce Now, Google Stadia, Utomik, and Amazon Luma. The 55-inch Samsung Odyssey Ark 4K UHD Gaming Monitor is currently available for pre-order at Samsung’s online store and is priced at USD 3,499.
