Philips has launched a new QHD HDR600 monitor with a refresh rate of 240 Hz in China. It is a 27-inch monitor with model number 27M1F5500P and a nano IPS display. This latest monitor from Philips has a response time of 1 ms grayscale and brightness of up to 450 nits.
The device is DisplayHDR600 certified and is claimed to offer an immersive display. Its IPS panel technology also means the monitor can be viewed from a wide viewing angle while maintaining color consistency.
The color depth of this Philips monitor is 10 bits, sRGB 100%, DCI-P3 color gamut 98%, and the Delta E color standard is below 2. Reporting from Gizmochina (19/8), a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 1 ms grayscale means that this Philips monitor can be used in gaming applications. Thus, the appearance will be very minimal blur. It is also suitable for streaming video over streaming networks.
Connectivity options on the monitor are HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB upstream/downstream. The screen is equipped with a 4-sided micro-frame and the footrest can be adjusted in various orientations. Because the bezels are very thin, the screen will also look wider. In addition, the footrest is uniquely shaped so it will not take up too much space on the table.
Unfortunately, there are no further details for the audio of this monitor. The Philips 27M1F5500P monitor is scheduled to go on sale on August 24, 2022 in China. For the price, Philips priced the 27M1F5500P monitor at 5,499 yuan.
