New MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max Chips Offer Improved Graphics and CPU Performance

According to scores on Geekbench, the M2 Pro and M2 Max offer a 30% improvement in graphics performance compared to their predecessors, the M1 Pro and M1 Max.

Additionally, the M2 Pro and M2 Max boast a 20% faster CPU performance than the M1 Pro and M1 Max. These results align with Apple’s advertising claims. However, it’s worth noting that the M1 Ultra chip in last year’s Mac Studio still outperformed the M2 Max by 9%.

The new Pros, available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, are now available for pre-order with first deliveries and in-store availability starting Tuesday.
