Getac Technology has introduced the F120, a fully rugged Copilot+ tablet PC aimed at professionals working in extreme conditions. The device is the first rugged tablet to qualify as a Copilot+ PC, combining Intel’s Core Ultra 200V processor with an AI Boost NPU to accelerate real-time analytics, diagnostics and image processing in the field.
The tablet is designed for industries such as defense, utilities and automotive, where reliability and mobility are critical. Defense operators can use the F120 to transform vehicles into mobile command centers, utility engineers can conduct GIS mapping and asset management in remote locations, and automotive technicians can run complex diagnostics to shorten repair times.
The 12.2-inch device offers WiFi 7 connectivity, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and hot-swappable batteries for extended use. It also carries MIL-STD-810H and IP66 certifications, providing resistance to drops, vibration, water and extreme temperatures.
By combining AI capabilities with rugged engineering, the F120 is positioned as a tool to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime in demanding environments. The device will be available globally in October 2025.
