Amazfit has introduced a new feature for its Balance 2 smartwatch, adding full compatibility with Stryd running sensors. The update is aimed at runners seeking advanced performance tracking and marks the first step in a broader rollout that will extend the feature to other Amazfit models in the future.
According to the company, the integration allows the Balance 2 to connect with Stryd and Stryd Duo shoe sensors, providing users with detailed running metrics and automatic data synchronization. “The device is now fully compatible with Stryd,” Amazfit said, describing the move as a way to enhance training insights for its smartwatch users.
The new feature enables Balance 2 owners to track runs and walks with precision comparable to offerings from other brands that already support Stryd, such as Garmin. Once users link their Zepp app accounts with Stryd, activity data is automatically synced to the Stryd platform for deeper analysis.
Amazfit noted that the smartwatch’s running data screen can be customized to match individual preferences, allowing users to focus on their most relevant metrics during workouts.
While Amazfit confirmed plans to extend Stryd compatibility to additional smartwatch models, the company has not disclosed which devices will receive the update or when the rollout will begin.
