Anker is reportedly developing a new pair of wireless earbuds under its Soundcore brand that will feature live translation, adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), and support for high-quality LDAC audio transmission.
According to information published by AnkerInsider, the upcoming model — known as the Soundcore D1200 — will include several advanced features aimed at enhancing both sound performance and usability. The semi-in-ear design will rely on fit for stability rather than a full in-ear seal.
The Soundcore D1200 is expected to include 11-millimeter drivers with a frequency range of 20 to 40 kHz. LDAC support will allow high-resolution audio playback with minimal loss in quality during wireless transmission. The earbuds will feature four microphones that contribute to both call noise reduction and active noise cancellation, complemented by a transparency mode.
AnkerInsider wrote that the device will also support spatial audio “to provide immersive and spatial audio reproduction.” Additional functions include Google Fast Pair, dual-device connectivity, and a live translation tool supporting up to 100 languages via the Soundcore app.
Battery life is reportedly rated at up to seven hours without ANC and six hours with it, with a total of 30 hours available through the charging case.
The Soundcore D1200 earbuds are expected to launch later this year in the United States, priced around $100.
