AOC has introduced the Agon U32G4U, a new 32-inch 4K gaming monitor that combines high refresh rates with strong brightness levels, targeting mid-range buyers seeking premium gaming performance. The model is set to launch in Europe in mid-October for €459, according to the company.
The Agon U32G4U replaces the earlier AG325QZN model, upgrading from a 240Hz QHD display to a 4K IPS panel capable of 160Hz at 4K or 320Hz at 1080p. AOC said the screen delivers a response time of 0.5ms and supports Adaptive Sync to reduce screen tearing. “The monitor can produce 450 nits across the entire screen,” AOC stated, noting that while brightness is high for its price range, the lack of local dimming means HDR performance remains limited.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, four USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, though the monitor does not feature USB-C support. The ergonomic stand allows for 5.1 inches of height adjustment, tilting, and portrait rotation. Users can also fine-tune display settings through the AOC G-Menu Windows app instead of relying solely on physical controls.
With its anti-glare coating, the U32G4U is designed for both gaming and productivity setups. AOC includes HDMI and DisplayPort cables in the box, along with a three-year warranty.
The company has not confirmed whether the model will be available in the United States. More details and specifications are listed on AOC’s official website.
