Ford Motor has completed the delivery of all complimentary North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapters ordered by its electric vehicle (EV) customers, a year after becoming the first automaker to commit to adopting Tesla’s charging technology. The company has now distributed 140,000 adapters, enabling its EV owners to access Tesla’s Supercharger network. Ford initially relied on Tesla to produce the adapters but encountered significant delays in supply.
