Ayaneo has begun sales of its AM03 mini-PC, expanding its small but growing desktop lineup after months of advance promotion, as the company seeks to diversify beyond its core business of PC gaming handhelds.
The AM03 is Ayaneo’s fourth mini-PC to reach the market, following the AM01, AM02 and AM01S. Unlike its predecessors, which leaned heavily on retro-inspired styling, the AM03 adopts a more modern design that Ayaneo previously described as “a masterpiece that perfectly combines artistic design and powerful performance.”

Despite the emphasis on design, the hardware places the AM03 at a disadvantage against newer rivals. The system is powered by Intel’s Core i9-12900H processor from the Alder Lake-H generation, a chip that combines six performance cores and eight efficiency cores with integrated Xe Graphics G7. Without support for an external GPU, the mini-PC is expected to struggle with recent triple-A games beyond low settings and resolutions.
Ayaneo has equipped the AM03 with a broad selection of ports, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and dual 2.5-gigabit Ethernet connections. The base configuration is priced at $399 and ships as a barebones unit without memory or storage, while a version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is available for $499.

Best known for its gaming handhelds, Ayaneo has in recent years branched out into adjacent categories, including Android-based devices and niche smartphones. With the AM03 now on sale, the company is continuing that expansion, even as performance considerations may limit its appeal in a crowded mini-PC market.
