A new officially licensed Cyberpunk Trading Card Game (TCG) is scheduled to debut in 2026, offering fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and Edgerunners a new way to explore the franchise’s universe. The project is being developed by WeirdCo in collaboration with CD Projekt Red and will begin with a Kickstarter campaign next year.
The card game will allow players to assemble their own edgerunner crews using characters and lore from both titles. According to the original article, the launch campaign “gives early followers a chance to grab an exclusive Lucy card,” signalling a focus on collectible incentives for early backers.

Gameplay details have not yet been disclosed, though the article suggested that fans can expect a blend of strategy and thematic elements consistent with the Cyberpunk franchise. “Imagine characters wielding Netrunner-like abilities or cards that nod to control mechanics akin to those in Magic: The Gathering,” the article noted, adding that the game could incorporate cyberware-inspired tactics such as “fast-slicing ‘Mantis Arm’ decks.”
The creators are initially focusing on a physical release, though the article speculated that a digital version could appeal to mobile players in the future. It highlighted the potential for a “full Cyberpunk soundscape” and themed boards if the project expands into online formats.
The Cyberpunk TCG is expected to roll out publicly through Kickstarter in 2026, with additional details to be announced closer to the campaign launch.
