Everything you should know about Galaxy Tab S8 specifications

Samsung presents its newest line of tablets through the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra lines. This year’s focus on meeting the needs of users in terms of work and entertainment, has embedded a series of new features, such as an improved S Pen, a super wide screen, to camera capabilities when used for conferencing.

Video conferencing has become important in the last 2 years since the work from home culture was introduced. Various applications and features related to video conferencing were developed to provide a more effective and comfortable remote communication experience between colleagues. Samsung in this case took part by presenting a new feature called auto framing.

Auto framing mode can automatically zoom out when the camera detects several people in the camera. This feature is also supported by an ultra wide front camera on the that can capture images with a wider coverage.

In terms of audio, the Galaxy Tab S8 Series 5G is equipped with 3 mics with noise reduction, so it can filter noise when users do video conferences in crowded places. Meanwhile, the speakers consist of 4 units with Dolby Atmos support and are claimed to be deeper and richer in bass sound.

Supporting multi-tasking, Samsung utilizes tablet screens for multi-window layouts. Users can easily adjust the appearance of multi windows according to their needs. Not to forget, this device is also equipped with an S Pen whose latency is getting smaller, namely the Tab S8 and S8+ 6.8 ms, while the Tab S8 Ultra is 2.3 ms.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Series 5G features a Qualcomm Gen 1 processor. Compared to its predecessor on the Galaxy Tab S7+, CPU and GPU performance increased by 24% and 52%, respectively. Armed with this, Samsung’s new tablet can be operated smoothly for a variety of multi-tasking activities.
