RedMagic 7 Series was released last February, and now RedMagic has released an upgraded version, namely RedMagic 7S series. There are two models from this series, namely RedMagic 7S and RedMagic 7S Pro.
The main improvement of this series is the use of the new flagship SoC, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
These two smartphones also feature a cooling system with an integrated Cooling Fan, which is not only useful for cooling the SoC while playing games, but also the smartphone while charging.
The memory options offered for the RedMagic 7S include; 8GB, 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB, 256GB to 512GB UFS 3.1 Storage. While the Pro version, the RAM options are 12GB, 16GB, and 18GB, while the storage is 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
Battery-wise, the RedMagic 7S has a 4500mAh battery, with 120W charging. While the Pro version has a 5000mAh battery, with 135W charging support. There is also a charger option with 165W GaN technology.
For the cooling system, RedMagic 7S has 9 layers of cooling system, while the Pro version has 10 layers of cooling system. Fan Cooler with Shark Fin design increases blowing pressure and reduces noise.
This device still uses the same screen as the previous generation. That is with a 6.8” 10-bit AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400px.
