A new tactical first-person shooter, Arena Breakout: Infinite, has launched for free on Steam and is already receiving positive reviews from players. Developed for fans of military-style gameplay, the title focuses on looting, raiding and resource extraction across five maps requiring different strategies.

The game features an extensive armory system with over 900 weapon modifications and more than 20 attachment slots. Players can customize their arsenal with ease using one-click switching, and several game modes are available, including Tactical Ops, Solo Ops, Covert Ops, and a 4v4 Deathmatch. “In total, players can explore five maps that require different strategies to emerge victorious,” the developer said.

Additional features include a Trophy Room to display collected loot, along with weekly and seasonal tasks designed to reward long-term engagement.

Despite its early success, Arena Breakout: Infinite has also drawn criticism. While the graphics have been praised for their realism, the core mechanics are described as more arcade-like. Free-to-play players report slower progression unless they spend money, and community feedback highlights the presence of hackers that current anti-cheat systems appear unable to contain.
