Some time ago, we reported that Honor had given a teaser for one of its newest devices, namely the Honor Magic V. This device itself is a folding smartphone that was first produced by Honor.

From the same news, there is confirmation that this folding smartphone will also be the first folding smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This has been re-confirmed with the latest leaks coming from China.

This confirmation comes from a leaked presentation that aired on the Weibo site. Unfortunately, although it has been confirmed that this device will be the first folding smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, there is no more detailed information regarding this. Other leaks that have been revealed regarding the Honor Magic V include a 6.5-inch main screen with an 8-inch second screen.

Of course, for the future, it is not impossible if folding smartphone devices from other brands will also carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset as well. Folding smartphones or flip smartphones are indeed classified as premium and may be difficult for everyone to own at this time, but the potential and technology they carry will provide so many possibilities for using smartphones with this unique design. Who knows, in the future, this technology will be used more and more and the selling price will be more affordable for the majority of people.
