IKEA has begun selling its Bilresa Remote smart home controllers in Europe, following leaks earlier this year and an official confirmation in early November. The accessories are now available in Sweden, with pricing also appearing for other countries through the IKEA Shop&Go app.
Two versions of the remote are being offered: a dual-button model and a scroll-wheel model. In Sweden, the Bilresa Remote dual-button variant is priced at SEK 79, while the scroll-wheel version costs SEK 99. Sets of three in assorted colours are also available, listed at SEK 179 for the dual-button set and SEK 199 for the scroll-wheel set.

Pricing information visible in the app suggests that Germany will sell the individual remotes for €4.99 and €6.99, with sets for €14.99 and €19.99. In the United Kingdom, sets are expected to retail at £10 and £12. Unconfirmed guidance indicates that individual units may be priced at £3 and £4. The original article described app-based pricing as different from figures previously reported.
The Bilresa remotes are designed to control a range of connected smart home products, including switching devices on or off, adjusting smart lighting brightness and activating preset scenes. The accessories support the Matter smart home standard and work with the IKEA Dirigera hub, enabling integration with multiple third-party ecosystems.
IKEA is expected to extend availability of the Bilresa Remote controls to additional countries from January 1 or earlier.
