IKEA has widened European access to its latest Matter-compatible smart home products, adding France and Germany to the list of markets where customers can purchase the devices online. The expanded lineup includes smart sensors, LED bulbs and remote controls designed to work with the company’s Dirigera smart home hub and the IKEA Home Smart app.

The product family was first introduced in November 2025 and has already appeared in online stores in countries including Sweden and Czechia, as well as in physical stores in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. According to the initial announcement, the range supports the Matter standard to ensure broader ecosystem-level compatibility. IKEA said the devices integrate with “a wide range of ecosystems, including Apple Home, Home Assistant and Google Home.”

The smart sensor lineup includes the Alpstuga air-quality sensor, priced at €29.99 in France and €39.99 in Germany. Four additional sensors — the Klippbok water-leakage sensor, the Myggbett door and window sensor, the Myggspray motion sensor and the Timmerflotte temperature and humidity sensor — retail at €7.99 each in France and €9.99 each in Germany.

The new Kajplats smart LED bulbs begin at €7.99 in France and €6.99 in Germany. Multiple bulb formats are offered, including E27, E14 and GU10, with options for white-spectrum or full color output and varying maximum brightness levels. The Bilresa remote controls are also now available in dual-button and scroll-wheel variants, priced at €6.99 and €9.99 respectively in France and €4.99 and €6.99 respectively in Germany.

IKEA has indicated that the expanded release will continue into next year. When the line was first announced, the company projected a wider rollout in January 2026 that could include additional regions such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
