Insta360 has launched the Wave, a $299.99 professional-grade speakerphone designed to deliver clearer audio and integrated artificial intelligence features for meetings, podcasts and content creation.
The device includes an eight-microphone 3D array, AI-powered noise reduction, acoustic echo cancellation and dereverberation technology. It can capture voices in high fidelity from up to 16 feet away and offers five pickup patterns to suit different recording needs.
Wave also functions as a portable recorder with 32GB of built-in storage, capable of storing up to 1,000 hours of audio. A touchscreen interface allows users to control recordings, adjust sound, and upload files directly to the cloud.
The device integrates with Insta360’s new InSight AI assistant, which provides multilingual transcription, speaker identification, smart summaries and task generation. Buyers can access a basic subscription plan, with advanced features available under a paid pro plan.
Available globally through the Insta360 Store, Amazon and other retailers, Wave can also pair with Insta360’s Link 2 webcam for a combined video and audio solution. Future firmware updates will add multi-device connectivity for larger meeting spaces.
