Motorola appears to be preparing another entry in its mid-range G-series lineup, following the emergence of live images of an unreleased device believed to belong to the 2026 generation. While the initial leak pointed to the next Moto G Stylus, a later report indicated the handset pictured could instead be the upcoming Moto G Power 2026, reflecting uncertainty over which model the device represents. The photos surfaced ahead of any official announcement from the company.
The first images were posted by well-known tipster @Sudhanshu1414 on X, who suggested the device was spotted undergoing certification. According to the leak, the smartphone is seen with a flat display and relatively slim bezels, maintaining the design language of previous G-series iterations. “The updated phone won’t see any significant change in terms of the overall design,” the original leak stated, pointing to consistency rather than a major redesign.
The rear of the device features a triple-camera layout in a familiar rectangular island, similar to its predecessor, which launched with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in the US market. The shared images did not reveal details regarding internal hardware upgrades, leaving questions open about what improvements Motorola may introduce for the 2026 generation.
If Motorola continues its usual annual release schedule, new hardware could be expected. The last two Moto G Stylus models used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 platforms, respectively. With Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 now available, industry watchers expect the 2026 device to adopt the newer chipset. However, no specifications were confirmed through the certification leak.

Motorola has yet to comment publicly on the images or provide clarity on which G-series model is shown. Based on previous timelines, the 2026 Moto G handset — whether the Stylus or Power variant — is likely to debut around May 2026. Until an official announcement is issued, further leaks may determine whether the device aligns more closely with Motorola’s stylus-equipped offering or its performance-focused G Power line.
