Xiaomi has begun internal testing of the HyperOS 3 stable build for the Xiaomi 13 smartphone range, signaling that the Android 16-based update may arrive earlier than the company’s expected timeline.
Internal build numbers spotted by community trackers show that the global Xiaomi 13 is currently testing firmware version OS3.0.0.1.WMCMIXM, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro is testing OS3.0.0.3.WMBEUXM. An additional internal build for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has also surfaced, although the version appears to be designated for the Chinese market rather than the global lineup.

The Xiaomi 13 family is part of the third batch of the previously published HyperOS 3 rollout schedule. Under the official timeline, global Xiaomi 13 and 13T models were projected to receive the Android 16 update by March 2026. The discovery of internal testing builds indicates that the update could be released sooner than planned, potentially within December 2025, if development continues without major setbacks.
The testing phase comes as Xiaomi approaches the completion of updates for the first batch of devices. Only four products — the Xiaomi Pad Mini, Mix Flip, Redmi Note 14 4G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G — remain, and all are expected to receive their updates by the end of November 2025.
