A leaked image suggests Motorola plans to release a FIFA World Cup-themed version of its Razr 2025 clamshell smartphone, as brands begin marketing tie-ins ahead of the 2026 football tournament to be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The image, shared on social media platform X by well-known leaker Evan Blass, shows a Motorola Razr 2025 featuring a multicolour finish in shades of green and cyan, alongside the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo and the words “Official Smartphone Partner” printed on the lower rear panel. The device is also expected to ship with a custom wallpaper using the tournament’s official typography.
While Motorola has not confirmed plans for a commercial launch, Blass said the company will give away a small number of the devices early next year. “Motorola will be giving away five units during a sweepstake at CES 2026,” Blass wrote in a follow-up post, adding that World Cup match tickets would also be included as prizes.
Aside from its external design and software customisation, the World Cup edition is expected to match the standard Razr 2025 in specifications. The foldable phone features a 6.9-inch pOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a smaller 3.6-inch cover screen, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400X chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in its base configuration.

Motorola’s Razr 2025, which runs Android 15, includes a 50-megapixel main camera, IP48-rated dust and water resistance, and a 4,500 mAh battery with wired and wireless charging support. The standard model is currently sold in multiple Pantone-branded colour options, with pricing in the United States starting at about $600.
