Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has made a strong start on Steam following its PC launch this week, attracting tens of thousands of players and quickly entering the platform’s top sellers chart.
The game was released on January 12, following a demo last year that surpassed one million wishlists, signalling high player interest ahead of launch. Early performance data suggests that momentum has carried over, with the title reaching a peak of more than 31,000 concurrent players on Steam on January 13, one day after its release.

In the days following launch, the game has accumulated more than 1,600 user reviews on Steam, with 74% rated positive. This early reception helped push the title into Steam’s top sellers list shortly after becoming available.
According to its developers, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check departs from traditional zombie combat by placing players in control of a checkpoint during an outbreak. The game description says players must decide “who is allowed inside the safe zone and who is turned away,” using scanning tools and observation to identify potential threats.

Beyond inspections, players are tasked with managing limited resources and upgrading defenses as conditions deteriorate. The game also launched on PC Game Pass on day one, making it immediately available to subscribers alongside its Steam release.
