Realme has officially unveiled the C85 Pro, a mid-range smartphone featuring a large 7,000 mAh battery and a suite of durability and display upgrades. The device is launching first in Bangladesh, priced at the equivalent of about $250, with details for other markets yet to be announced.
The C85 Pro includes a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,344 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and peak local brightness reaching 4,000 nits. The company said the handset also introduces an “AI Outdoor Mode” designed to enhance screen visibility under direct sunlight. “The Realme C85 Pro combines performance, endurance, and durability for users who live active lifestyles,” the company said during the launch.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 processor — a 4G-capable SoC paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. While the chip lacks 5G support, Realme said it was selected to balance efficiency and cost. The phone supports 45-watt fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge its large battery capacity.
Durability is one of the key highlights of the C85 Pro. The model meets IP69 certification standards, offering resistance to water and dust. Realme also claims the device can “survive at a depth of up to six meters for 30 minutes” and endure “half a meter for 60 days,” going beyond typical IP ratings. An integrated feature allows users to expel trapped water from the speakers after submersion.
Measuring 164.4 x 77.99 x 8.09 mm and weighing roughly 205 grams, the C85 Pro maintains a relatively slim profile for a phone with such a large battery. Realme said it aims to expand the model’s availability to additional markets in the coming months as part of its strategy to strengthen its mid-range portfolio in emerging regions.
