Asus Republic of Gamers has released the Azoth 96 HE gaming keyboard in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with a retail price of €399.99 including VAT. The model marks the latest premium addition to the Azoth lineup and introduces new magnetic switch technology aimed at competitive gamers.
The keyboard features hot-swappable ROG HFX V2 magnetic switches with actuation point tuning between 0.1 mm and 3.5 mm, adjustable in increments as precise as 0.01 mm. Asus says the refined mechanism provides greater responsiveness and customization than earlier versions. According to the company, “Its implementation of the Hall Effect promises 0.01 mm keystroke detection, smoother input tolerance, and lower power consumption.”

Each unit is individually calibrated, with Asus stating that it measures key-travel distance and applies an algorithm to ensure consistent accuracy across the board. The company positions this as an advantage for competitive scenarios. “This step is supposed to give the Azoth 96 HE an edge during fast-paced gaming sessions,” the announcement said.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB wired and ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless. Asus says the keyboard can connect to as many as five devices at once and transmit polling updates up to 8,000 times per second without requiring an external booster. Other premium elements include a 1.47-inch OLED touchscreen for status readouts, a three-way knob for rapid adjustments, a six-layer damping structure and a metal top cover.
