Swedish developer Nuggets Entertainment has found success with its new cooperative survival-adventure game RV There Yet?, joining a growing list of indie hits in 2025 such as Lethal Company, REPO, and Peak. Released on Steam on October 21, the game offers players a lighthearted but challenging road trip experience with friends, as they navigate treacherous terrain after taking an unexpected detour through the “old country.”

Players must scavenge parts, repair their van, and survive the dangers of Mabutts Valley using teamwork and quick thinking. A key feature of the game is its physics-based winch system, mounted on both ends of the RV, which allows players to maneuver through rough landscapes. The developers describe it as a “physics-based co-op adventure” built around chaotic fun, improvisation, and survival.

RV There Yet? embraces a simple, cartoonish art style that contributes to its comedic tone, placing it in a growing subgenre of social indie titles often referred to as “Friendslop” — games designed for unpredictable, laughter-filled sessions with friends. Similar games like Peak have already built strong online communities, driven by proximity voice chat and shared player experiences across streaming platforms.

Despite facing some early technical issues, Nuggets Entertainment has been quick to address feedback from players. In a statement celebrating $2 million in sales, the team expressed gratitude for the game’s strong reception, writing, “First of all, we want to thank everyone for the enormous support. Our 8-week game jam exceeded all expectations.” The studio added that it continues to work on fixes for reported crashes.

Priced at $7.99 on Steam, RV There Yet? highlights how independent studios can still capture large audiences through creativity and social gameplay. With its blend of humor, teamwork, and survival mechanics, the title stands as another reminder that 2025 has been a defining year for indie innovation and community-driven success.
